About The Poster: A poster for an exhibition of works by Valerio Adami held at Galerie Maeght, Paris, in 1975. Valerio Adami is an Italian painter, born in Milan (where we purchased the poster) and of international repute. His art shows obvious influences of Pop Art, his subjects are "highly stylized and often presented in fragments" His early work  was more expressionist, and in the 1970s he began addressing politics in his art. Adami has earned much merit, especially in Europe, where four retrospectives of his work have been curated to date. (Source: Wikipedia). We have another poster designed by Adami for the 1982 soccer world cup in Spain. We love the artist's graphic style! The poster is unlined and in very good condition.
