About The Poster: This lovely image was recently purchased in Italy from a collector who is as crazy about old paper and ephemera as I am. He has been known to purchase the archives of both well known and unknown artists and printers... his warehouse is like Paradise Lost: every nook and cranny full of treasures ... like this one: from the archives of a printer who specialized in the production of games and ephemera for children, a colorful image showing what looks like a child playing postman, another one playing cook, one more playing delivery boy.. a cranky old lady (and wouldn't you be too??) with a parrot... Why they have to tie the pot to the doorbell I'm not quite sure, but it's odd and twisted and it made me smile.
