About The Poster: Every time I see a poster for a Bal des Etudiants (loosely translated into Student's Ball, or perhaps a prom on sterioids) I can't help thinking that these students must have had some rollicking good times... Big decollete dresses, Pierrots who seem to be leering, music (and in this case pigs (?!) on leashes)... I mean really, what kind of students were these exactly? This poster is larger than life in so many senses, with great colors, a huge sense of humor, and style which just cant be beat. We love it! (In fact, I have the poster from the following year's Bal des Etudiants on my staircase at home - it is also great, although unfortunately has no pigs on leashes, or pigs of any kind...)
