About The Poster: This poster, printed by the Art Deco period power-house printing establishment of Affiches Gaillard in Paris certainly makes its message crystal clear (in fact, the marketing message is probably the only thing which isn’t covered in shoe polish)! The rotund boot-black -- seems to be smiling through the few teeth that he has, and the polish is advertised as being ‘a pleasure’ to use. In very good condition, this French poster is linen-backed and measures 61 x 46 inches.
