About The Poster:  A poster, measuring approx. 53 x 38 inches, of a wonderful sailing ship, seemingly under full sail, perhaps accompanied by a pontooned airplane escort on a seemingly calm sea. Given our fairly limited understanding of Italian, we fail to understand what the ship has to do with the product being advertised - a table cream - but who are we to question the artistic integrity of the turn of the century Italians. Printed by the famed Baroni printing house in 1918, the poster is in very good condition and mounted on linen. Purchased in Milan.
