About The Poster:
A lovely and colorful period advertisement for a drink that was advertised as the best lemonade made from pure fruit and pure sugar (as opposed what, we wonder?)
Evidently, Les Establissements Rivayrol also made wines, beers, oils and liqueurs, but in this advertisement it is La Mousseuse (the ‘foamy”) that they are advertising. We love the man, very much in the style of Leon Dupin who was working around this time, but as it is an unsigned work, we guess it is more of an homage than a work of the master.
