About The Poster: This oversized poster was recently purchased in Europe. Published in Paris by Publicite Wall, and produced by Rene Prejelan it was an advertisement for Ponctua watches : Le meilleur montre de precision, la moins chere (The best precision watch, the least expensive) The Scottish drum-majorette certainly seems to enthusiastically agree. René Prejelan was a French illustrator and poster artist. In the early 20th century, he produced sequential pages for La Joie des Enfants (1905) and the comic 'Jo et Josette' for Qui Lit Rit (around 1905-07).This poster is in very good condition and was probably produced in the late 1910's early 1920's. It has been mounted on linen and is ready to be framed. Measures 47.5 x 63 inches.
