About The Poster: A wonderful, rare and exceptionally colored piece for Tiffon Cognac - a company started only four years before this piece was produced in 1919. A family business witha rich and colorful history, Tiffon is still run by descendants of the original owner (who lived until the ripe old age of 100 - perhaps because he drank cognac on a regular basis?) Complete with a full calendar from 1923, this piece also has the original twine from which it was hung. It is the only piece we have seen like it in over 25 years of collecting ephemera and posters.
This carton measures 9.25 x 12 and is printed on cardboard. It is in very good condition considering it's age - a few scuffs indicate that it is close to 100 years old, but then again, I think that when you and I reach that age we will have a few signs of wear and tear as well.
