About The Poster: Printed in 1916 for the Lion Noir show polish company, the message of the design is clear: even the lion will be covered entirely with colour when he mis-steps into the polish. At least I think that's what the message is! This piece was also produced in a larger poster format and the company continued to use the same graphic for roughly 50 years. Matted and ready to frame, this piece was recently acquired in Italy. We think it would look great in a child's room or nursery.
