About The Poster: René Gruau's illustrous career as an illustrator and artist and his implication in the fashion world earned him a reputation as one of the past century's greatest designers. His women are always sensuous and his style is distinct and unique. Gruau has created many posters for Bemberg (some of which we own and can be consulted by typing "Bemberg" in the search bar of this site), as well as for performances at Paris' famous Moulin Rouge and Lido cabarets, to name a few. His pieces are coveted and collected worldwide. This lovely new addition to our Gruau collection is linen-backed and in very good condition. It was purchased recently in Milan.
