About The Poster: We found these plates in an old antique shop and couldnt resist buying them - lots of them! Originally in what was most likely a salesman's book, the front of the plate is a highly coloured, totally retro looking (and totally retro) fashion plate from which shops and individuals could order suitings, outerwear, and formal tuxedos. The back of each sheet originally had fabric swatches but those are long gone. In very good condition and printed on thick stock, these sheets were produced for the Taylor Clothes Company of Chicago, which, to the best of our knowledge, no longer exists. Pity.
We think they will look outstanding framed - either individually or in sets. Kind of a pity we don't dress like this any longer...
