About the artist: Will H. Bradley (1868-1962) was an American Art Nouveau illustrator and artist. Known as "The Dean of American Designers", he was the highest paid American artist of the early 20th century. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and at the age of 12 obtained a job as a printer for a weekly newspaper. He later left for Chicago, Illinois where he briefly held a job as an engraver and typographer before dedicating himself to freelance graphic design. He set up the Wayside Press where he served as illustrator, editor, typographer, and press manager for a periodical aptly named Bradley: His Book. In the 1950s he won the AIGA award, the highest honor in graphic design. Bradley's primary medium was poster art and his artistic style is considered a branch of Art Nouveau. 

This poster featuring one of Bradley's drawings is for an exhibition on American poster art at Galerie Arenthon in Paris. The poster is in very good condition and measures 15 x 18 inches.
