About The Poster: George Dola (1872-1950) was a masterful posterist specializing in opera posters. La Chauve Souris was created in 1904, is linen backed, and measures 22.5"x 31.5".  Later on, he became involved with film industry and worked on film advertising posters. His posters are illustrative and capture scenes from daily life, stage productions and movies. This 100 + year old poster is in great condition and is signed in the stone by the artist!
