At Montreal's L'Affichiste gallery all of our posters are original, non-reproduction pieces produced within the last 150 years. Cappiello, Cheret, Mucha, Steinlen, Berthon and all of the great posterists are represented - both with large and magnificent posters, as well as with smaller, more affordable pieces. We have made every effort to research each and every piece in the L'Affichiste collection: artist, period and provenance are listed and explanatory copy is provided for all items listed in our shop. We believe that the purchase of a vintage poster involves not just falling in love with a particular piece, but also understanding how it was produced, by whom, and within which context.
