About The Poster: This poster was recently purchased in Barcelona. Created by the comic artist Antonio Batllori Jofré, seemingly in the 1940s, it seems to be a socially-oriented poster for a workers' mission (obrero means 'worker' in Catalan). The poster is in overall good condition, with some minor creases in the edges. It is unlined.
About the artist: "Antoni Batllori Jofré is an early Spanish comic artist. He drew for such magazines as Atalaya and En Patufet, before beginning a cooperation with the new run of the famous TBO magazine in the late 1940s, for which he was one of the few realistic artists."
