About The Poster:
Manuel Orazi (Roma 1860 - Paris 1934), Italian born painter and lithographer, working mostly in France.
There is very limited biographical information on this artist of Italian origin, who already between 1883 c 1884 was notable for the covers of sheet music editions designed by the famed Italian printer Ricordi. This small gem of a calendar is one of four - the year was divided into quarters and we are selling the calendar individually (if you wish to buy all four pieces there is a discount available), with the Saints Days noted for each date. The delicacy of detail and design is magnificent and a tribute to Belle Epoque exactitude... We also have another calendar, printed roughly around the same time, by the same artist, for the Place Clichy department store.
