About The Poster: A very effective, constructivist rendering of the dancers in red and black (Rennert). Recalling Nijinsky, the great Russian ballet dancer and choreographer of Polish origin, and the equally famous black-bordered set designs of the Russian set designer Bakst, this wonderfully expressive dance poster printed by the Affiches Nicolitch company in Marseilles is framed in typical Art Deco style.Circa 1925. Paper, linen-backed. The poster is in excellent condition.
