About The Poster: Dransy - also known as Jules Isnard (1883-1945) seems to be a bit of an enigma. Evidently a gentleman of Swedish origin, he produced some remarkable Art Deco pieces for notable companies like Gitanes and Nicolas (wine importers), and worked as an illustrator. He often used striking Gypsy women to great effect, as he does here for the French cigarette company, Gitanes.

Poster is in excellent condition and on linen.
