About The Poster:  Georges Leonnec, who's initials appear in this poster, was a prolific artist of the Art Deco period. Often compared to Rene Vincent (one of our favourites at the gallery), Leonnec did a great deal of work for cigarette and tobacco companies. Certainly, the woman in this poster seems to have all the verve and elan of French women of the period.
