About The Poster:A Hungarian artist, Marton spent some time in Paris desining posters in a French art deco style, all for bicycle, car, or motorcycle companies. In the late 1920's and early 1930's he was employed by the advertising agency Dam. Marton's work with the airbrush and photo-montage was exceptionally well-handled. His images paid homage to the machines themselves and to their mechanics and components.
