About The Poster: When we think of classic American illustrators, we think of Norman Rockwell. This is a lovely small piece which illustrates the best of Rockwell - a simple country scene, well depicted, with style, care and no small amount of respect. Printed in 1925, it is a half-tone print (mounted on linen) of a billboard poster for Beech-nut Gum featuring vintage golf. In very good condition, on linen.

Wikipedia says of him that: Norman Percevel Rockwell (February 3, 1894 – November 8, 1978) was a 20th-century American painter and illustrator. His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States, where Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine for more than four decades.
