About The Poster: "Mont Ventoux (Ventour in Provençal) is a mountain in the Provence region of southern France...On the north side, the mountain borders the Drôme département. It is the largest mountain in the region and has been nicknamed the "Giant of Provence", or "The Bald Mountain". It has gained fame through its use in the Tour de France cycling race." (Source : Wikipedia) The poster is urging all tourists not to leave Provence "without having climbed the Mont-Ventoux." Indeed, as the tallest mountain in the region, it would offer spectacular sights over the French country-side. The poster might be loaded with information, but the image is neat and to the point - the "giant of Provence" is definitely huge.
The poster was recently linenbacked and is in very good condition.
