About The Poster:  This lovely, unlined poster is in very good condition - folds are apparent but poster is vibrant, intact and otherwise remarkably well-preserved. From the private collection of a recent emigre, the poster features a headline which roughly translates as: "It is Lenin's truth which makes us strong".

We love posters like this one which give us a glimpse into another culture, another social reality, and a political history which has played such a significant role in shaping the lives of millions. Once common, these Soviet political posters are becoming quite scarce: recently a French auction site priced a poster similar to this one at over $1000!
