About The Poster: This poster advertises a brand of bottled water called Montigny and is signed in the lithographic plate by Bernard Delcourt. Montigny has long produced drinking water and is fed by multiple other water sources in the Parisian region. Once belonging to the Saint-Denis abbots, it became a communal drinking source during the Revolution. In the 1950s, its ownership switched to the frères Farcy, a private society. The poster, in English, reads: "On your table: Montigny water, sourced from Ile-de-France (available flat or sparkling)."

This poster has been recently linen backed and is in excellent condition.
