About The Poster: Wikipedia tells us that "Mickey Mouse is a funny animal cartoon character and the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company. He was created by Walt Disney and UB Iwerks at the Walt Disney Studios in 1928. An anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves, Mickey has become the most recognizable cartoon character in the world."
Every child, in every country, at every time since Mr. Mouse was created in the late 1920s, has had (and maybe still has) a favourite Mickey item - a tee shirt, a stuffed animal - that reminds them of simpler times (pre-Internet for sure!) when a small rodent with a high voice was a symbol of happiness, home and something pure.
Vintage Mickey ephemera is increasingly hard to find, and this piece, purchased abroad, seems to refer to a Mickey movie that featured golf. More than that, unfortunately, we can't tell you... Recently linen-backed, in excellent condition and ready to frame.
