About The Poster: This Campari ad by famed poster artist Giovanni Mingozzi was designed in the 1950s. Campari is an alcoholic apéritif created from the infusion of herbs and fruit in alcohol and water. It is a bitter characterized by its dark red color which was obtained by crushing cochineal insects to produce a colorant called carmine. The company ceased to use the dye in 2006.

According to Wikipedia, "In the Italian market, Campari mixed with soda water is sold in individual bottles as Campari Soda (10% alcohol by volume). Campari Soda is packaged in a distinctive bottle that was designed by Fortunato Depero in 1932." This is the design showcased by Mingozzi in this 1950s Art Deco poster. It is in great condition, and would look amazing in any kitchen, restaurant, or even children's room!
