About The Poster: According to Mark Rothko: A Biography (written by James . B. Breslin) when a Viennese art dealer named Frank Lloyd opened his Marlborough Gallery in Rome, he counted Rothko among the few artists he chose to represent. Rothko is considered one of the greatest American artists of the last century, and his works take pride of place in museums around the world.
This poster is hand numbered (256/500) and blind stamped in the lower left-hand corner with the stamp of "C.M. Fabriano". Poster is in very good condition (A-) with a small tear on the bottom margin and a minuscule sign of wear on the top margin. It is unlined.
