About The Poster: An original late nineteenth-century advertising sheet for a company called P. Charbonnel - evidently a company which distilled wine (but which doesnt exist anymore, unfortunately.) We love the sweetness of this young couple - she holds on to him without fear, almost as if she can direct him downstream with the sheer strength of her love.
This piece was purchased in Italy recently along with various other vintage French chocolate and confectionary labels. In very good condition, the piece has been beautifully matted and framed.
We think it would look perfect in a kitchen, nursery or dining room!
