About the poster: This is an original vintage point-of-sale advertisement for a shoe polish called Brillante (literally: shiny), a wax for shoes that all the 'chic' people evidently used. Produced during the Art Deco period, this carton would have hung in a shop window or above a product display in a store. The original string is still attached and visible in the photo. The carton is in good condition and measures 9 x 14 inches.
