About The Poster:

Ink blotters (buvard) were commonly used to remove excess or spilled ink from surfaces before the appearance of ballpoint pens in the 1950s - they were a must for any office desk where foutain pens would be used,  and companies rapidly began printing advertisements on them and handing them out for free. They quickly became the equivalent of business cards today (but 10 x the size). Blotters have become sought-after collectibles and have forged their own place in the history of advertising. This blotter advertisement is unused and in excellent conditon.
