About The Poster: I'm guessing that Vivor was a drink that was popular in France in the 50s ... how else to explain this elfin little man drinking sheepishly? He is just too cute - and his colors literally pop right off the page/poster! I first saw this poster when a client brought him into the shop to be framed and I fell in love with him then. And on a recent buying trip to France and Italy I found one for myself and brought him back ... he's gracing the walls of the gallery at the moment, making me think of the South of France and wishing I could find myself a bottle of Vivor. He measures 47 x 63, he's mounted on linen, in excellent shape and he's quite striking... at least I think so! Created by P. Gabriel, of whom I can find no record, in, I believe, the 1950s...
