1890s Original French Art Nouveau Champagne Poster, Veuve Amiot

Veuve Amiot was officially founded in 1871 by Elisabeth Amiot upon the death of her husband Armand who had been a vine grower as well as wine dealer. Elisabeth decided to take control of the company and hence, la Maison Amiot was born. It seems fitting that this poster feature a lovely lady, when it was indeed a woman who founded the company, which exists to this day. 

Purchased recently in Europe, this poster is unlined and in excellent condition.
