I love seeing old calligraphy samples and hand-written technical drawings and -- voila! -- here we have both! These 1860s American property deeds were drawn up for lands in Delaware Township in Northampton County. Its northern edge borders The Poconos, and its eastern section borders the Delaware River, which divides Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Signed by J. M. Campbell, Surveyor General, these documents each include a hand-drawn sketch of the bird's-eye view of the land being purchased. It details the names of neighboring property owners and which plots are still vacant land. A very cool piece of old ephemera that would make a great gift for anyone who works in real estate, loves American history, or (like me!) could pore over 19th century handwriting for hours. This set of four land deeds would look great framed in an office, a bathroom, or a living room!
