The shows were headed by Oscar Carré, a Dutch-German entrepreneur, circus director, and the namesake for the prestigious Oscar Carré Trophy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese posters boast an ancient Rome-inspired show, complete with gladiator-style ring fights, chariot races, and a triumphal procession.
