This vintage travel poster advertises "cheap excursions" available through the St. Louis - San Francisco Railway for 4th of July celebrations. The St. Louis - San Francisco Railway (also called the "Frisco") operated between 1876 and 1980. At its peak, the railroad operated 10580 km of track across the Midwest and South Central United States. The railway was bought out by Burlington Northen Railroad in 1980. This poster is linen backed and in excellent condition.
