A lovely Belle Époque poster advertising Chocolat Suchard, one of the oldest brands of chocolate in Switzerland. Elegant and refined, this poster has recently been linen-backed. Good condition, some scuffing - details in pictures.
About Suchard: "In 1825, the Swiss man Philippe Suchard founded his own chocolate factory in the city of Neuchatel, in Neuenburg. In this factory, the chocolate was handmade (artisanal chocolate). Since he was a born innovator, Philippe started to develop, in 1826, a new contraption which could improve the mixing of the cacao with the powdered sugar." (wikia.com)
