About The Poster: In the early 1920's printing companies liked to show off the precision of their presses by inviting illustrators and artists to create intricate images the they could reproduce. This is the result of one such mandate, and from our perspective a striking success.
Published by the General Cigar Company (makers of Robt Burns, Van Dyck, White Owl, Wm. Penn and "Laddies" cigars) this magazine, The Burning Question, was "devoted to the promotion of the cigar business." It was issued by the company's advertising department, with articles aimed at salesmen and retailers, with assorted bits of advice and information related to selling the company's cigar brands.
In excellent condition and ready to frame. Perfect gift for a cigar lover!
