About The Poster: A wonderful French railway poster featuring the famous 12th-century castle at Pierrefonds. Originally built in the 1300s, the castle was unoccupied for roughly 200 years when it caught the eye of Napoleon I (he bought it in 1810 for less than 3,000 francs!).
French railway posters like this one are highly collectible and are becoming increasingly rare. This poster has been linen backed, is in very good condition and ready to frame.
