Cora was an alcoholic beverage produced in Torino, Italy from the mid-1800s and that was consumed as an aperitif in France. The brand was the first vermouth to be exported to the United States and enjoyed success through the early 20th century. It’s popularity declined after WWII and the company was eventually bought out by a spumante producer known as Bosca in 1984.
This vintage poster for Cora was created in Paris in 1934 by Roger Perot who created many well-known Art Deco posters in the late 1920s and 1930s.
The chromolithographic poster is linen backed and in excellent condition with very minor signs of wear (see photos below). Recently acquired, this vibrantly coloured poster is one of our new favourites!
