We do not have many maps at L'Affichiste, but the few that we do carry are unusual, charming and particular - like this small beauty. Produced in 1946 (so, just after World War Two, when Paris would have been looking to expound on its beauty and charm rather than its burnt out ruins and somewhat iffy food supply). The map includes highlights of some of the cities most famous landmarks, neighbourhoods, and characters. Almost like a 1940s version of Where's Waldo.
The poster is in very good condition with some light repairs. We feel that this map, when framed, will be the focal point of any room in which it is put.
