This advertisement by Leblanc was created to announce the ninth annual Salon de l'imagerie, an expo that would highlight the best in imagery - whether hand-drawn or printed - from that year. It took place in 1946 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, a museum of the decorative arts and design located in the Palais du Louvre's western wing known as the Pavillon de Marsan in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. The poster's strong, bold colours perfectly offset Leblanc's delicate black and white illustrations of various couples enjoying a beautiful day at the park.
Unlined and in great condition, from a private collection.
