About the Poster: Where is Puteaux? Good question, and one we asked ourselves. Evidently, as our friends at Wikipedia tell us, "Framed by futuristic high-rises, Puteaux is a busy area known for the Grande Arche, the colossal centerpiece of the La Défense business district. Artworks dot Parvis de la Défense, a vast esplanade linking the Quatre-Temps and CNIT shopping malls. Restaurants line cobbled streets around 16th-century Notre-Dame de Pitié church, while Île de Puteaux is an island in the Seine with a park and sports facilities."
About the Artist: Roger de La Fresnaye, (1885-1925), was aFrench painter who synthesized lyrical colour with the geometric simplifications of Cubism.
This poster is in very good condition and ready to be framed.
