Date: 1977
Size: 22 x 30 inches

Lindner's designs are made with colorful panes that resemble cut-outs, and his imagery blends abstract shapes, typography, and representational elements. His subject of preference is that of the unconventional person, whether it be an elaborately dressed gangster or a bedazzled streetwalker. Lindner's modern style is bold and fascinating, exposing subculture through grand pictures.

This poster titled "Man and Woman" was made for the Galerie Maeght, a French private foundation focused on modern art, founded in 1936. They were also one of the foremost Parisian printers of the time, regularly producing the lithographs for their exhibitions.  This unlined poster is in excellent condition and is perfect for any living or bedroom space in need of a dash of whimsy!
