This poster is an advertisement for Carlsberg lager, a Danish beer. The literal translation of the caption "Alle Kan Traenge Til en Hof" is "Everybody can need a beer" - and this series of ads shows the funny situations people will get themselves in just to have a sip of Carlsberg! Including this crowd of people fleeing the courtroom as soon as the judge rings the bell for recess - they're all running for a bottle of ice cold Carlsberg!
We love this advertisement, and even if it's an 1980s poster, we definitely get a 1930s Art Deco feel from its clean, sleek advertising. Unlined with small pinholes in each corner, it would look great framed in a man cave, living room, summer home... anywhere a little humour is needed!
