About the Poster: We always learn things when researching posters: for instance, did you know that CIDNA (Compagnie internationale de navigation aérienne) was the first company to provide passenger, mail and cargo transportation by air from Paris to Bucharest, vis Strasbourg, Vienna and Budapest.
As such, it was the first airline to offer transcontinental flights in the history of aviation!
The company was founded on January 1, 1920. The company ceased to exist when it became one of the constituting companies of Air France on October 7, 1933.
We really love vintage ads such as these - not only because they're beautiful and colorful, but because they remind us of the romance of old paper. Call us sentimental (cause you'd be right!), but we think pieces like this look great anywhere, from the bathroom or kitchen to your large scale gallery wall. They also make fab gifts!
This poster, a modern re-issue of the original, is framed and ready to hang.
