About the Poster: This contemporary Polish poster was originally titled Portret w Plakacie, meaning 'portrait poster' in English. It is an advertisement for artist Mieczyslaw Gorowski's exhibition at the ZPAP gallery in Poland. I like to think that the shy face cautiously peering out from the shadows is the designer's autoportrait. I can't decide if he was hiding from the glamour of celebrity or the harsh words of the critics. In either case, the character is quite charming. The poster is in excellent condition, and measures 26.5 x 38.5 inches.
