Mads Berg is a Danish illustrator specializing in poster design, brand and editorial illustrations, cover art, and murals. Based out of Copenhagen, Berg has an impressive list of international clients. His work is characterized by a style that translates classic poster art into a modern and timeless look.
Designed to celebrate the uber-trendy and ultra-historic travel destination of Mallorca, this poster reflects the profound beauty, history and culture of Spain's Balearic Islands. It features the "La Seu" Cathedral of Palma, a Catalan Gothic-style building with Northern European influences. Begun in 1229 by King James I or Aragon, it was finished in 1601 and sits within the old city of Palma atop the former citadel of the Roman city, between the Royal Palace of La Almudaina and the episcopal palace. It also overlooks the Parc de la Mar and the Mediterranean Sea.
Unlined and in excellent condition, this poster would be (we modestly feel) a perfect design accent in any decor: modern, retro, minimalist...
