After serving in the Air Force as base and aerial photographer during the Vietnam War, Harvey Edwards attended the University of Miami, majoring in Fine Arts and developing his creativity by studying painting and sculpture. By the end of the next decade, he had been honored with 64 one-man shows. Originally recognized for his compelling images of ballet dancers, his work now explores the byways of a broader America.
