About the poster:  Signed Antoni (for the Danish artist Ib Antoni 1929-1973), this playful poster depicts a man with a pink balloon head. His coat shows miniature body builders, clowns, roller coasters, and beer - all of which are in reference to the amusement park being advertised. Bakken is located 10 kilometers north of Copenhagen and, founded in 1583, is the oldest known operating amusement park. 
This poster is in very good overall condition with a tiny tear in the bottom left edge.
About the artist Ib Antoni (1929-1973) was a well known set cartoonist, designer and poster artist. Not only in Denmark but also abroad, where he illustrated the renown Times and Life Magazine in the USA. Ib Antoni created approximately 300 posters in the twenty years of his   career. He was commissioned by a wide range of clients such as FDB, Politiken, Carlsberg, Dyrup, Volvo, Danish Agriculture, Foreign Affairs, UNICEF and others. His posters for the Expo reflect his playful, "Naive" style, for which he is known and appreciated.
