This original vintage poster was created for an exhibition held at the Life of Maryland Gallery in Baltimore from March 30th - May 22nd 1987. The show highlighted the work of regional artists. This poster - inspired by a 1956 piece by Swiss designer Josef mullet-Brockmann - was created by Lew Fifield. Fifield is currently a faculty member at the Society for Experiential Graphic Design in Washington and has been the recipient of awards from the Museum of Contemporary Crafts and the International Polish Poster Biennial among others.
This poster is in excellent condition and ready to be framed. This poster is available at l'Affichiste thanks to Marc Choko, Professor Emeritus at the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM) School of Design. A long time collector of posters, Choko has curated exhibitions and published on the subject since the 1980s.
